LAST TIME OUT
• Isaiah Pineiro recorded his seventh double-double in the past eight games but it was not enough to help San Diego overcome a poor night of shooting as the Toreros fell 66-46 to Saint Mary's this past Saturday night at the Jenny Craig Pavilion.

• Pineiro led USD with 13 points and 14 rebounds for his 13th double-double of the season.

• USD struggled all night offensively, shooting just 29 percent (15-51) from the field and 5-of-18 (28 percent) from 3-point range.  Carter III chipped in 12 points and Wright added 10.

• The Toreros did not have an answer for the Gaels Jordan Ford who scored a game-high 21 points. The Gaels finished strong offensively, shooting 54 percent in the second half and finishing at 46 percent from the field on the night.

• Saint Mary's dominated the boards with a 43-30 advantage in rebounds, including 11 on the offensive end. The Gaels outscored the Toreros 36-16 in points in the paint.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. SAN FRANCISCO
• USD is 39-44 all-time against the Dons and have won the past four meetings.

• The Toreros defeated the Dons earlier this season at home, 67-63. Isaiah Pineiro scored a game-high 22 points. The Toreros trailed by as many as 14 points in the first half and 11 at halftime but outscored the Dons, 46-31, in the second half to secure the victory. USD was excellent down the stretch and hit 10 of its final 12 shots from the field.

• USD shot 62 percent in the second half and out-rebounded USF, 22-12. The Toreros limited the Dons to 34 percent shooting from the field on the night.

FINALLY HEALTHY
• USD has battled through injuries to starters Yauhen Massalski, Isaiah Wright and Olin Carter III throughout the season.

• Massalski missed three games (Dec. 1-9) after sustaining an ankle injury in the first three minutes at Ole Miss (Nov. 28). Wright missed four games (Dec. 29-Jan.5) after a wrist injury during a double-overtime game against Drake (Dec. 23). Carter III missed five games (Jan. 17-Feb. 2) due to an abdominal injury in the second half against Pepperdine (Jan. 12).

• USD's game at Loyola Marymount on Feb. 7 was the first time the Toreros had their starting lineup (Wright, Carter III, Tyler Williams, Isaiah Pineiro, Massalski) all start together and finish the game together since Nov. 24 against Jackson State.

PINEIRO AND CARTER III LEAD THE WAY
• Isaiah Pineiro has led the Toreros in scoring in 16-of-29 games (55 percent) and Olin Carter III has led USD in seven games. The duo tied for the most points against BYU (Feb. 14) with 20 apiece.
