LAS VEGAS – San Diego could not slow down UNLV's offense as the Toreros dropped an 11-0 result in five innings on Thursday afternoon at the Eller Media Stadium.

The Toreros (7-12) permitted 15 Rebels (15-4) hits and gave up 11 runs in the first four innings. USD could not keep pace offensively, managing just three hits in the contest.

The Toreros did not have an answer for the top of UNLV's lineup, as the Rebels first four batters combined to go 9-for-10 with seven runs and eight RBIs. Lauren Tycksen led the way with a 4-for-4 effort in the leadoff position.

The Toreros will look to snap their three-game losing streak this weekend when they head to the Highlander Classic at UC Riverside, beginning Friday at 9 a.m. PT against Omaha.
