SAN DIEGO - San Diego women's basketball has added a home contest against San Diego Christian on Friday, Dec. 11, before traveling to Tempe to take on PAC-12 opponent Arizona State.

The Toreros will face the NAIA opponent for only the second time in program history. Tip off is set for 2 p.m. (PT). Fans will not be permitted inside the JCP due to state and local health guidelines. The game will be broadcast on the WCC Network.

San Diego will then travel to Tempe, Ariz. for a Sunday contest at 1 p.m. (PT). The contest will be streamed on the ASU Live Stream.

Erica Martinsen scored a career-high 16 points in San Diego's 70-60 victory at Cal State Fullerton.

Amanda Olinger also had a career night for USD with her first double digit performance recording 13 points of the bench.
Jordyn Edwards added six points, four assists and five steals.

• The San Diego defense caused havoc for the Titans forcing 29 turnovers. USD capitalized on mistakes turning the opportunities into 22 points on the other end of the floor. Edwards' five steals led the way individually for the Toreros.

• The Toreros got off to a hot start in the first with back-to-back field goals from Martinsen and
Sydney Hunter in the first minute and a half of play. San Diego did most of its damage in the paint in the first quarter, scoring 10 of its 18 points close to the basket.

• San Diego never trailed after the first entering the fourth up by nine. The Toreros were unbeatable from beyond the arc as San Diego knocked down four threes to account for 12 of its 19 points.

• Martinsen was perfect from deep in the quarter, going 3-for-3. Edwards was also perfect from three hitting her only opportunity in the period.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST SAN DIEGO CHRISTIAN
• San Diego's contest against San Diego Christian marks only the second matchup between the two schools. The Toreros have won the lone contest in the all-time series.

ALL-TIME SERIES ARIZONA STATE
• The Toreros enter the 2020 matchup against Arizona State on a one game winning streak. The Sun Devils own the all time series at 2-7.

• This is the first matchup between the two programs since the 2013-14 campaign where San Diego beat the Sun Devils at home, 61-53. The Toreros later qualified for the WNIT making it all the way to the Sweet 16.

THE ERIKSTRUP TWINS
• Sunday's matchup against Arizona State will mark the first collegiate contest against freshman center
Laura Erikstrup and her twin sister, Sydney. Both are wearing No. 11 in their inaugural seasons for San Diego and ASU.

SHARP SHOOTERS
• Martinsen's breakout performance against Fullerton displayed depth at the guard position for San Diego. The Toreros have made 12 three-pointers in two games of work and are outshooting their opponents from beyond the arc holding opponents to only nine made threes on the year.

• Martinsen leads the way from beyond the arc for USD, averaging 37.5 percent. She's also attempted the most threes this season at 16.

• Five players have scored from three in the first two games of the season creating depth in San Diego's shooting threat.

Sydney Hunter is leading the way in FG percentage at 62.5 percent on the year, followed by freshman Erikstrup. Olinger rounds out San Diego's offensive threat shooting .500 so far on the year.

OFF THE BENCH
• San Diego has displayed depth in its rotation early in the 2020-21 campaign with six players averaging over 15 minutes of action.

• 11 players have seen time in both contests for USD with each making at least one basket during their time on the court.

• The rotation has tacked on double-figures in both contests this season, with 19 points coming from the bench against San Diego State and 26 points against Cal State Fullerton.

• Olinger and Erikstrup have created the largest scoring impact of the non-starters, each shooting at least .500 on the year.

LOOKING AHEAD
• After taking on PAC-12 opponent Arizona State, San Diego will travel up to Long Beach State on Dec. 17 before returning home to the JCP against UC Irvine on Dec. 20.
