SAN DIEGO - San Diego women's basketball will enter its final one game week of the regular season with a matchup against BYU on Saturday inside the Jenny Craig Pavilion.

Saturday also marks Family and Alumni Day inside the JCP.

LAST TIME OUT
• San Diego fell to No. 12 Gonzaga in Spokane, before earning a 62-58 victory at Portland.

• Against the Pilots, Madison Pollock recorded a new season-high 22 points only five shy of her career mark in the category. Jordyn Edwards and Myah Pace added to the double-digit production for San Diego with 12 and 16 points respectively.

• Pollock and Pace combined to score 61.3 percent of the Toreros' points against the Pilots as San Diego came back from a three-point deficit at halftime.

• The Toreros out rebounded the Pilots 33 to 25 in the contest led by eight rebounds from senior Patricia Brossmann. Brossmann currently leads San Diego in rebounds with 148 on the season, averaging 6.7 per game.

• Against the Zags, Pace and Edwards led the offensive efforts for USD with 11 and 13 points on the night. San Diego's defense was efficient once again in the contest forcing 24 Gonzaga turnovers.

• The Toreros went on an early first quarter run to create an 11-10 advantage after the first, but Gonzaga roared back to outscore San Diego in the second and third quarters to win it 57-46.

REWRITING THE RECORD BOOKS
• Patricia Brossmann earned her spot among San Diego's all-time best last week, moving to 596 career rebounds which places her ninth in total career boards.

• Brossmann is the first of the 2019-20 squad to enter the top 10 in any category, both career and single-season.

•  She currently sits just outside the rebounds per game career mark at 5.4. To enter the top 10 all-time, Brossmann will need to average 5.5 boards by the end of the season. The Berlin, Germany native is also edging up on a possible single season record mark as she is 30 offensive rebounds away from entering the top 10.

• Along with Brossmann, junior guard Pace is only two steals away from entering the top 10 in the single-season category. She has ranked among the WCC's best in takeaways this season and among the best in NCAA Division I.

LEADING THE WAY
• Four of San Diego's starters currently rank among the conference's best in multiple categories. Pollock, Pace and Edwards have been instrumental in USD's offensive production.

• Pollock and Pace rank in the top 20 in scoring in the West Coast Conference averaging 12.1 and 11.4 points per game. Only 17 points separate the two's offensive production this season with Pollock recording 250 points on the year and Pace raking in 267.

• Brossmann joins the two guards to rank in the top 20 in rebounding as she leads the team with 148 boards this season. Pollock sits right behind Brossmann at 140, and Pace rounds out the rebounding efforts with 116 on the year.

• The trio have helped San Diego rank third in rebounding margin and total offensive rebounds in the WCC. The Toreros also sit in first in defensive rebounding percentage at .733 on the year.

• Edwards has also been key for San Diego on the offensive side of the ball ranking 7th in the conference in assists and third in free throw percentage. The redshirt junior is currently shooting .855 from the charity stripe to lead San Diego.

• Defensively, Pace leads San Diego's production with 68 steals on the year. She is currently tied for second with Kate Andersen of Portland and is sitting at 10th in NCAA Division I for steals on the year. Her efforts have San Diego in the top 15 in Division I with 241 total steals.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST BYU
• San Diego will look to even the regular season against the Cougars after suffering a 52-36 loss in Provo. BYU owns the all-time series against the Toreros at 15-6.

• San Diego will look for its first home win against BYU since the 2017-18 regular season.

LOOKING AHEAD - WEST COAST CONFERENCE STANDINGS
• With the regular season sweep of the Pilots, San Diego now sits third in the WCC. A win against BYU would allow the Toreros to start edging towards second place to earn a triple bye in the WCC Tournament.

• Next week San Diego will face Pacific at home after beating the Tigers by only two points in Stockton. Pacific currently sits in fourth tied with Portland at 6-5 in conference play.
