Michayla Herr totaled three shots, including one on goal, but San Diego women's soccer (6-9, 1-5 WCC) dropped a hard-fought 1-0 decision to Gonzaga (12-5, 2-4 WCC) at Luger Field on Saturday afternoon as it continued West Coast Conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bulldogs struck first, finding the back of the net after just 15 seconds of play when Erin Healy scored with an assist from Kacy Johnston.
- It would be the lone goal of the game despite 22 total shots from Gonzaga and 11 from USD.
