SAN DIEGO - No.
25 San Diego volleyball (11-3, 5-0 WCC) earned its fifth-straight victory with a 3-0 sweep over Gonzaga (5-11, 1-4 WCC) on Thursday night. The Toreros have outscored opponents 15-1 during the streak.

San Diego improves to 11-3 (5-0 WCC) on the season, and will remain home to battle Portland this Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST SET - (SAN DIEGO, 25-23)
- USD battled back from an early 6-1 deficit in the first set, as three kills from Frohling gave the Toreros an 8-7 advantage.
- The set was locked at 18-18 following a Gonzaga attack error.
- After the Bulldogs went ahead 22-20, San Diego produced a 5-1 run to win the set.
SECOND SET - (SAN DIEGO, 25-12)
- The Toreros jumped out to a 6-1 lead.
- After back-to-back Gonzaga points, USD tallied the next five points to go ahead 11-3. Lukes had two kills to help pull away.
- Benbow earned the last seven serves, including two aces, to seal the eventual 25-12 set win for the Toreros.
THIRD SET - (SAN DIEGO, 25-18)
- A service ace from Frohling and two aces from Lukes helped spark a 10-1 run for the home team.
- Gonzaga cut its deficit to 15-11 with three straight points, but San Diego answered with four of the next five.
- A kill from Leyla Blackwell, a Gonzaga error, and a kill from Emily Wilson completed the straight-set win for USD.
