PROVO, Utah — USD women's soccer (5-7, 0-3 WCC) dropped a tough decision to No. 20 BYU (8-3-1, 3-0 WCC) on Saturday night, falling to the Cougars by a 6-0 margin at BYU's South Field as it continued West Coast Conference Play.
The Cougars took charge early and didn't look back, scoring in the 12th and 18th minutes to take a 2-0 advantage into halftime, then added on with scores in the 49th, 79th, 82nd, and 86th minutes to seal the 6-0 win.

- Alyssa Mahrt led the way for the Toreros with two shots, with one coming on goal.
- Bella Piete and Ariana Scholten each had shots of their own on goal.
