Cal State Fullerton connected on a running jumper with three seconds left to defeat San Diego on Friday, 57-55. Senior forward Marcellus Earlington led the Toreros with 16 points, with 14 of them coming in the first half. Senior Jase Townsend compiled 14 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in the loss. Redshirt senior guard Joey Calcaterra added 13 points, shooting 5-of-8 from the floor. Graduate center Terrell Brown-Soares grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked another four shots.
