FRESNO, CA – Led by three players in double figures, Fresno State (6-1) defeated the San Diego men's basketball team (4-5) on Wednesday, 63-43.

Vladimir Pinchuk led the Toreros with 11 points on 4-of-5 from the floor.

San Diego drops to 4-5 on the season, and will return home to face Cal Poly on Sunday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Fresno State made its first four shots to take an early 9-5 lead. The Bulldogs later used a 6-0 run to go ahead 15-7.
- Bryce Monroe scored eight straight for San Diego, chipping into the home team's lead at 25-20.
- Fresno State ended the first half on an 8-0 run, and led 33-20 at halftime.
- San Diego quickly put up four points in the second half with a Pinchuk jumper and two Calcaterra free throws.
- After a Fresno State technical, Jase Townsend buried two free throws before making a mid-range jumper to cut the deficit to 43-33.
- Calcaterra ended a 5:14 scoring drought for San Diego with a triple in transition. USD trailed 52-40 with 5:42 remaining.
- The Bulldogs used a 7-0 run towards the end of the second half to seal the win.
