Box Score SAN DIEGO—The Toreros triumphed over the Aztecs tonight in a 63-51 win in Viejas Arena on Wednesday, December 1. San Diego (5-2, 0-0 WCC) played so well, San Diego State (4-4, 0-0 Mountain West) struggled to keep up with the Toreros on both ends of the court.
Offensively, the Toreros were unstoppable shooting 44.4% from the 3-point line, 42.9% from the field, and 41.2% from the free throw line. The Toreros' leaders on offense were Steph Gorman with 14 points and Kiera Oakry with 11. Sydney Hunter scored her first double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Hunter's defensive efforts marked the highest number of rebounds in a single game by one player in the Toreros' season so far.
