LAST TIME OUT
San Diego outscored Northern Arizona by 11 in the second half to earn a comeback win, 69-59. The Toreros trailed by as many as nine in the opening half, but dominated on the glass 44-25 to gain momentum. Senior Marcellus Earlington registered a double-double for the second consecutive game, ending with 22 points (8-14 FG) and 11 rebounds. Sophomore Bryce Monroe added 11 points, four rebounds, and two assists in the win, playing a team-high 33 minutes.
 
SCOUTING THE RUNNIN' REBELS
UNLV has won three straight games to reach a 7-5 overall record. Senior guard Bryce Hamilton was selected to the 2021-22 Preseason All-Mountain West Team, while freshman guard Keshon Gilbert was named the conference's Preseason Freshman of the Year. Hamilton currently leads the team with 18.5 points per game. Junior forward Donovan Williams is also scoring in double-figures at 11.9 points per contest, while forward Royce Hamm Jr. is contributing 8.9 points and 9.9 rebounds.
