FULLERTON, Calif. - San Diego softball (6-13) dropped two games against Cal State Fullerton (15-11) on the road on Friday afternoon.

Halle Kyler served as the offensive bright spot for San Diego, but the Toreros came up short and fell to the Titans 4-1 in game one on Friday.

Courtney Rose (0-5) got the ball to start for San Diego and took the loss.

At the plate, the Toreros were led by Kyler, who went 1-for-2 on the day with a home run and an RBI.

The Toreros were trailing 4-0 in the sixth inning when they first put runs on the board. Kyler sent a leadoff home run over the left center fence to give the Toreros momentum.
Malia Benson then singled and advanced to second but was stranded. San Diego was unable to pull any closer.

GAME 2 | San Diego 0, Cal State Fullerton 10
Three Titan pitchers combined to throw a shutout in game two as Fullerton blanked San Diego 10-0 in five innings.

The Toreros struggled to find momentum in the batter's box as Elisia Princic recorded the sole hit of the game going 1-for-1 in the contest.

Freshman
Katlin Entrup (1-3) got the ball to start and took the loss, giving up four runs on four hits.

San Diego will be back in action on Wednesday, when they return to the USD Softball Complex to face Biola at 4 and 6 p.m. (PT).
