Junior
Lauren Hendrickson had two hits, helping the Toreros to win a close one on Friday, as they edged the Aggies 3-1.

Madison Earnshaw (2-4) started in the circle and picked up the win for San Diego. The right-hander went seven innings, giving up one run on six hits, allowing one walk and striking out four.

Hendrickson led the way offensively for the Toreros, going 2-for-2 in the ballgame with an RBI. Junior
Rion Simms put together a noteworthy day at the plate as well, going 2-for-3. Junior
AJ Kaiser also helped out, going 1-for-3 for San Diego with an RBI.

The Toreros got on the scoreboard first, starting in the third inning. San Diego scored three times, picking up one on an RBI base knock off the bat of Kaiser.

GAME 2 | Utah State 8, San Diego 2
Freshman
Amanda Limon went 2-for-4 with a triple for San Diego in an 8-2 loss in game two.

Sophomore
Courtney Rose (0-3) came out of the bullpen for San Diego and took the loss. The left-hander went 5.2 innings, giving up three runs, two earned, on seven hits, allowing one walk and striking out five.

In the batter's box, the Toreros were paced by Limon, who went 2-for-4 in the contest with a triple. Senior
Hayley Hensley put together a noteworthy performance at the dish as well, going 1-for-1 with a double.

Trailing 2-0, the Toreros first put runs on the board in the second inning. Junior
Sophia Bjerk came across to score the lone run of the inning for San Diego and get them on the board.

The Toreros kept the deficit at 2-1 before tying the score in the third. Limon came across to score the lone run of the inning for San Diego, which brought the score level at 2-2. Utah State then scored six times over the remaining four innings to break the tie and grab the 8-2 win.

The Toreros are back in action next week, when they will take on Cal State Fullerton on the road on Friday, March 12.
