In the final game before WCC play, San Diego dropped a road game at UNLV on December 22, 80-57. Graduate center Terrell Brown-Soares led the Toreros with 16 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks. Brown-Soares made 8-of-11 field goal attempts. Senior Marcellus Earlington went into double-figures for the team-leading 10th time this season, ending with 14 points and two rebounds. Redshirt senior Vladimir Pinchuk contributed eight points and six rebounds in the loss.
 
SCOUTING THE DONS
The Dons currently rank second in the College Insider Mid-Major Top-25 Poll. San Francisco is led by graduate guard Jamaree Bouyea, who is averaging 17.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. He also leads the team with 54 assists. Graduate forward Yauhen Massalski is adding 13.6 points and leads the team with 7.9 rebounds per contest. Redshirt senior guard Khalil Shabazz is also averaging double-figures at 11.0 points.
