Led by 10 different scorers, the University of San Diego men's basketball team (6-5) earned a 26-point win over UC San Diego (4-5) on Monday, 84-58. The Toreros shot 51.6% (32-62) from the floor and 52.0% (13-25) from long range. Fifth year guard Marcellus Earlington led all scorers with 21 points in 22 minutes, making 8-of-11 shots and 4-of-5 from beyond the arc. Junior Sigu Sisoho Jawara contributed 12 points in the win, connecting on 5-of-8 shot attempts. Graduate guard Eric Williams Jr. went into double figures for the eighth time this year, ending with 10 points and a team-high seven rebounds.
SCOUTING THE SUN DEVILS
Arizona State has jumped out to a 10-1 record, including a 25-point win over No. 20 Michigan and a victory over Creighton last time out. The Sun Devils were selected to finish seventh in the Pac-12 Preseason Poll, while Marcus Bagley and DJ Horne were selected to the Preseason All-Pac-12 Second Team. Arizona State ranks fifth in the country in opponent's field goal percentage, allowing just 34.6% per game.
