Led by five in double figures, Arizona State (11-1) defeated the University of San Diego men's basketball team (6-6) on Sunday, 91-67. Graduate guard Eric Williams Jr. registered his sixth double-double of the season through 12 games, ending with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Junior Sigu Sisoho Jawara also went into double figures with 15 points on 6-of-11 from the floor. Fifth year guard Marcellus Earlington added 12 points and nine rebounds in the loss.

SCOUTING THE HIGHLANDERS

UC Riverside was selected to finish fifth in the Big West Preseason Poll, while senior guard Zyon Pullin was named Preseason All-Big West. Through 10 games, Pullin leads the team with 19.5 points per game and 34 assists in addition to 4.6 rebounds per contest. Graduate guard Flynn Cameron is adding 11.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. The Highlanders won three straight games in a Las Vegas Tournament over Weber State, Wright State, and Abilene Christian, but have lost two of its last three to Cal Baptist and Oregon.
