SAN DIEGO—San Diego softball (3-3, 0-0 WCC) battled cross-town rival San Diego State (5-1, 0-0 Mountain West) but fell short, 3-1, at SDSU Softball Stadium.

• Alexia Torculas snagged two steals and was the only Torero to do so against SDSU. 

LOOKING AHEAD
The Toreros return home to host the Torero Classic Tournament from Friday, February 18 through Sunday, February 20. San Diego's home opener is on Friday, Friday 18 at 7 p.m. against DePaul. Their last and only contest took place on March 21, 2017 and resulted in a 4-3 win.
