Shooting 56.7 percent from the floor, No. 2 Gonzaga defeated San Diego on Thursday, 92-62. In addition to the audience on ESPN2, the announced crowd of 5,443 was one of the largest in program history. Senior Jase Townsend led the Toreros with 13 points on 5-of-11 from the field. Graduate Terrell Brown-Soares matched a season-high of 12 rebounds in addition to seven points and three blocks. Redshirt senior Joey Calcaterra and senior Marcellus Earlington each contributed 12 points in the loss.
 
SCOUTING THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara has won four of its last five, including a 79-60 victory against LMU on Thursday. Jalen Williams leads the team and ranks second in the WCC with 18.1 points per game. Josip Vrankic is adding 14.1 PPG, including 22 points (9-13 FG) in the first matchup with USD. Keshawn Justice averages 13.4 points per contest with 6.9 rebounds, while PJ Pipes scores 10.5.
