LAS VEGAS — The Toreros were aggressive at the plate with seven hits and two home runs, however, it was not enough to close the gap, 6-3.

• Ashley Daugherty started in the circle for the Toreros. 
• Izzy Owen singled to shortstop in the top of the first. 
• In the top of the second, Sofia Delgado singled to shortstop.
• Alexia Torculas homered to left field in the top of the third. San Diego trailed 5-1.
• In the bottom of the third, Courtney Rose replaced Daugherty in the circle. 
• Lauren Hendrickson and Amanda Limon singled in the top of the fourth. Savannah Alarcon pitch ran for Hendrickson and scored! UNLV led 5-2.
• In the top of the seventh, Rion Simms homered to left field to put the score at 6-3, UNLV led. 
• Izzy Owen doubled to left field in the top of the seventh.
