SAN DIEGO — The Toreros defeated UC San Diego in extra innings 3-2! Mikalyn Emanuelli scored the winning run off a hit from Arisa Tovar in the bottom of the eighth.

• Courtney Rose started in the circle for the Toreros. 
• In the bottom of the third, Alexia Torculas singled to shortstop and Izzy Owen singled up the middle. 
• Arisa Tovar singled up the middle and Savannah Alarcon was a pinch runner for Tovar in the fourth. 
• Ashley Daugherty singled down the left field line to advance Savannah Alarcon to third. Alarcon scored off a throw to second where Daugherty was out. San Diego is tied 1-1 in the bottom of the fourth. 
• In the bottom of the fifth, Joecellia Roberts singled up the middle and sent Amanda Limon to score! San Diego leads 2-1.
• Alexia Torculas singled through the left side in the bottom of the seventh. 
• Madison Earnshaw replaced Rose in the circle in the top of the eighth.
• In the bottom of the eighth, Joecellia Roberts singled to second base. Mikalyn Emanuelli replaced Roberts as the pinch runner. 
• Arisa Tovar singled through the left side to send Mikalyn Emanuelli to score the winning run!
