Behind double-doubles from fifth year guard Marcellus Earlington (30 points, 12 rebounds) and graduate guard Eric Williams Jr. (21 points, 11 rebounds), the University of San Diego men's basketball team (10-12, 3-5 WCC) earned a regular season sweep over Pepperdine (7-15, 0-8 WCC), 87-78. The Toreros shot 53.4% (31-58) from the floor, which is a season high. Earlington scored 30 points for the second consecutive game, including his career-high of 32 at Portland last Thursday. Williams Jr. registered his team-high 10th double-double of the season. Fifth year guard Jase Townsend added 11 points and five rebounds in the win.

San Francisco has won two straight games against Pacific and BYU, jumping up to a tie for 7th in the conference standings along with San Diego and Portland. Graduate guard Tyrell Roberts leads the team with 15.6 points per game, closely followed by graduate guard Khalil Shabazz at 14.9 PPG. Junior forward Zane Meeks is adding 12.5 points and a team-high 6.2 rebounds per contest. The Dons rank 9th in the NCAA in three-point attempts per game (28.5) and 11th in threes made (10.1).
