Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The morning opened with the men's race, as the Toreros paced themselves early before attacking late.
- Russell Gokemeijer sat in 193rd in the competitive field through the first 2K, but surged up the leaderboard and ultimately took 106th overall.
- Shortly thereafter, the women's side took the course.
- Fresh off being named the WCC Runner of the Week, Daniella Hubble led the way for the Toreros once again.
- Hubble followed a similar path, surging from 93rd through the first split to 64th overall in the end.
- Much like last week, Aryam Jaimes and Gianna Sbarbaro were not far behind, earning top-100 finishes.
