SAN DIEGO – The San Diego men's soccer program (7-3-1, 1-0-0 WCC) heads on the road for their first conference game away from Torero Stadium, traveling to Saint Mary's (5-3-2, 0-1-0 WCC) for a 1 p.m., game on Saturday.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Toreros got a late winner from Oliver Rhoades on a feed from Mason Tunbridge to beat San Francisco, 1-0, on Sept. 29.
- San Diego smothered the visitors on defense, holding them to a season-low in shots.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- San Diego has started its title defense at 1-0 in conference play, after going 6-0-1 in the WCC last season.
- San Diego is seeking to become the WCC's first repeat champion since Saint Mary's in 2018 and 2019.
- The Toreros rank 17th in the nation in total assists (24), while also ranking 29th in total points (62).
- In addition, the Toreros rank 24th nationally in goal differential (+10), 25th in assists per game (2.18) and 40th in points per game (5.64).
- The goalies have also been stellar, as Luis Ludosan and Donovan Parisian have helped the Toreros lead the WCC and rank 24th in the nation in goals against average (.818) and 22nd in shutout percentage (.455).
- Trevor Dillon is the reigning WCC Defensive Player of the Week, following his work at center back to secure a shutout win over San Francisco.

- Tunbridge now has 30 points in his last 32 games, dating back to Nov. 5, 2021 against Pacific.
- Tunbridge also ranks 26th in the nation in assists (five).
- Ludosan leads the WCC in save percentage at .815, which stands in 19th nationally.
- Ludosan also ranks 24th nationally and first in the WCC with a .731 goals against average.
- San Diego is undefeated when scoring two or more goals and scoring first so far this season.
- The Toreros have only lost two games in the last three seasons when they lead at halftime.
