SAN DIEGO – Following a brief road trip, the San Diego women's basketball program (2-1, 0-0 WCC) is back home at the Jenny Craig Pavilion, welcoming Princeton (2-1, 0-0 Ivy) on Sunday at 2 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Toreros held a third quarter lead, but were unable to hang on and fell, 79-66 at Arizona on Tuesday.
- For the third straight game, Kasey Neubert tallied a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds, after recording just five double-doubles all of last season.
- The Toreros got plenty of production from Veronica Sheffey and Dylan Horton, who each went for season-highs of 15 points apiece as the Toreros offense maintained a high-level and nearly outshot the Wildcats.

- San Diego is set to meet Princeton for the first time in program history.

- Neubert is one of ten players in the nation with three double-doubles and the only player in the WCC.

- In addition, the Toreros lead the WCC and rank 18th nationally in field goal percentage defense at 29.7 percent.
- Offensively, it's been a strong start, as the Toreros lead the WCC in field goal percentage and rank 25th nationally at 49.7 percent.
- Horton has settled in a key role as the first player off the bench so far and has gone into double figures in scoring twice so far.
- San Diego was picked to finish fifth in the WCC Preseason Poll this season.
- The Toreros feature five newcomers, as transfers Horton (Florida A&M) and Maddie Vejsicky (Virginia Tech) join the three incoming freshmen Lauren McCall, Malia Tharpe and Mila Wawszkowicz.
