SAN DIEGO – The San Diego women's basketball program (1-0, 0-0 WCC) spread the wealth across the offense, as the Toreros rolled to a 92-38 victory over Chapman on Monday night at the Jenny Craig Pavilion.
Kylie Horstmeyer led all scorers with 14 points and four steals, while
Kasey Neubert notched her first double-double of the season at 11 points and 11 rebounds.

- Between the second and third quarters, San Diego shot 61.8 percent as the lead ballooned to 40-15 at halftime and 67-25 at the end of three quarters.
- Harsimran Kaur and Courtney Wristen asserted themselves in the paint, with Kaur and Wristen each recording seven points apiece in the third quarter.
- The Toreros offense continued to tack on the points in the fourth quarter, as Veronica Sheffey added to her 12-point total, while several newcomers got some extended run.
