Swimming and Diving Sends Off Seniors versus UC San Diego

Jane Riehs, Penelope Leonard notch individual wins at USD Sports Center Pool on Saturday

SAN DIEGO — Led by first-places finishes from sophomore Jane Riehs and freshman Penelope Leonard, and a win in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, San Diego swimming and diving competed against crosstown opponent UC San Diego on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Tritons by a 162-90 margin at the USD Sports Center Pool.

The meet marked the Toreros' senior day, with Sam Eason, Elena Elie, Parker Henry, Rachel Hubka, Callie Johnson, Gracie Marshall, Megan Ross, and Mia Shaeffer honored prior to the event.

FIRST-PLACE FINISHES SECOND-PLACE FINISHES THIRD-PLACE FINISHES UP NEXT
The Toreros are back in action on Wednesday, February 15 when they begin competition in the MPSF Championships in St. George Utah.
