SAN DIEGO – The San Diego track & field program continues their late season road swing, traveling up to UC Irvine to compete in the Steve Scott Invitational, with action set for Friday and Saturday.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- The Toreros will open day one with action in the one mile invitational and 5000m races.
- Day two will feature both the 800m and a second day of the one mile.
- This weekend will be the first showing in the mile for the Toreros this season. Aryam Jaimes holds the top comparable time by a Torero this season with a 4:46.90 in the 1500m.
- Jaimes continues to be the standout runner for the Toreros track & field program, owning the best times by a Torero in the 800m, 1500m and 5000m.
- Daniella Hubble will be back in action and is set for several events including the 800m and the mile.
- In addition to her success across the track, Hubble owns the best 3000m steeplechase time by a Torero since school record holder Sarah Kapple in 2017.
- Gianna Sbarbaro will return to her distance specialty in the 5000m, while Sofia Green and Maggie Duba will take on the 800m once again.
- This weekend's meet is the penultimate of the season, with just the Oxy Invitational remaining on the regular season schedule.
