ALBUQUERQUE, NM — San Diego golf on Tuesday afternoon completed play in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate, finishing 14th out of 20 teams at UNM Championship Golf Course (par 72, 7,546 yards).
As a whole the Toreros were +17, combining for rounds of 297, 286, and 298 strokes to total 881 in the tournament.
Andi Xu set forth USD's strongest performance for a second consecutive week, carding an even-par 216 after rounds of 77, 71, and 68 strokes to place tied for 31st.
Craig Ronne was next at T-48 after turning in a three-over 219 (72, 72, 75), followed by
Ryan Abuan at T-68 (+8, 224, 72, 72, 80), and
Carson Enright at T-72 (+9, 225, 76, 71, 78).
Ryan Plodkowski rounded out San Diego's results with a finish at T-82 (+11 227, 77, 73, 77).
The Toreros are back in action on Monday, October 9, when they begin play in the Alister Mackenzie Invitational at the Meadow Club in Fairfax, California.
