CORVALLIS, Ore. — University of San Diego men's golf opens its sixth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance on Monday at Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Oregon, beginning the three-day, 54-hole 2026 NCAA Corvallis Regional with a spot at the NCAA Championship on the line.
HOW TO FOLLOW THE ACTION:
The seventh-seeded Toreros are one of 12 teams and 10 individuals in the Corvallis Regional, which runs Monday, May 18 through Wednesday, May 20 and is hosted by Oregon State. The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams advance to the NCAA Championship, held May 29 – June 3 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in nearby Carlsbad, California.
USD enters the postseason on the heels of a 2025-26 campaign that included a victory at the R.E.L. Invitational on its home course, a stroke-play first-place finish at the WCC Championship, a third-place showing at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational, and fourth-place finishes at The Tindall, The Preserve Collegiate, and the Thunderbird Collegiate. Graduate student
Ian Maspat captured the WCC individual title earlier this month, and he and freshman
Reed Arnaldo both earned All-WCC First Team honors in head coach
Evan Emerick's second season at the helm.
San Diego has now qualified for the NCAA Tournament in every season since 2020-21.
