TUCSON, Ariz. — San Diego golf on Tuesday afternoon finished 10th of 18 teams in the Arizona N.I.T at Omni Tucson National Golf Club. The Toreros recorded rounds of 290, 279, and 276 for a total of 845 strokes that were 19 under par.
USD was led by senior
Andi Xu, who finished tied for ninth with a 12-under 204 (71, 69, 64). His Top-10 performance marked the fifth consecutive tournament this season in which he has secured a team-best finish.
Junior
Carson Enright was next at T-46, carding rounds of 73, 67, and 72 for a four-under 212.
Freshman
Ryan Abuan finished tied for 56th (-2, 214, 74, 69, 71), followed by senior
Kelvin Si at T-61 (-1, 72, 74, 69, 215).
Graduate student
Craig Ronne shot 75 in each of the tournament's first two rounds before withdrawing from the event.
The Toreros are back in action on Monday, February 19, when they begin play in The Prestige at the PGA West-Norman Course in La Quinta, California.
