During Quinn's tenure at the helm of San Diego's program, he's accumulated a 56-41-20 all-time record in seven seasons, which includes a 28-15-7 mark in conference action.
With Quinn's second WCC Coach of the Year award, he now joins his mentor and former San Diego head coach Seamus McFadden as Torero head coaches to win the award multiple times. McFadden won nine times during his tenure, which is the most since the conference introduced the award in 1988.
Parisian, in his second season for USD took home the conference's Goalkeeper of the Year Award after playing and starting in 13 matches as he recorded 27 total saves on the season to go along with six clean sheets.
One of the highlights of this season came in the Toreros' 1-0 road victory over San Francisco when he saved a career-high seven shots and followed that up with two more saves and a shut out over Pacific as San Diego earned a road sweep over a pair of Northern California foes.
In total, Parisian earned the WCC's most Defensive Player of the Week awards with four as it helped him make the All-WCC First Team in his first full-time season as USD's goalkeeper.
Bahena earned a spot on his second All-WCC Team this season after leading the conference in shots and shots on goal. Cesar was exceptional in the early portion of the season as he earned a hat trick in San Diego's 8-1 dominant win over Lipscomb. That performance included an assist to help Bahena earn his first WCC Offensive Player of the Week nod on the season.
He also got off to a strong start in conference action as he scored goals in three consecutive matches against Saint Mary's, Gonzaga and Santa Clara. Leading the way as the head of the Toreros' attack all season, Bahena ranked fourth among all WCC competitors in goals, game-winning goals and points during his junior season.
Last season, Bahena was picked to the 2023 All-WCC Second Team.
Making his first career All-WCC Team after a tremendous season,
Kanaan scored a team-best nine goals and led the WCC with five game-winning goals in his junior season. His heroics all season helped pace USD's 13 wins as he would go on to take home a conference-best four All-WCC Offensive Player of the Week awards.
Playing in front of a tremendous crowd of over 2,000 people, Kanaan scored a pair of first half goals in the team's 2-0 home victory over Oregon State that put San Diego alone in first place for good. Putting a bow on his great season, Kanaan netted the game-winning goal in the team's 1-0 road victory over LMU to clinch yet another WCC title.
Samy has helped guide USD to three conference titles in a row as he earns his first ever All-WCC selection in 2024.
Warne didn't miss a minute of action during USD's 2024 season as he played in 1,530 total minutes in all 17 of San Diego's games. As an anchor of the Toreros' defense, Warne helped the team post six shut outs this season and allow just 13 goals all season, which is five fewer than any other WCC opponent.
This is his first career All-WCC First Team nod after being selected to the All-WCC Second Team in 2023. Contributing on the offensive side of the ball as well, Warne scored his first goal of the season in San Diego's win over Saint Mary's while also accumulating three assists throughout the year.
Ethan wrapped up his regular season with a strong performance on the road against LMU where the USD defense held the Lions to just seven shots in the match including only one on goal. The strong night in Los Angeles helped Warne earn his first WCC Defensive Player of the Week award during the final week of the regular season.
Cracking the All-WCC Second Team in his first season with the program,
Sandmeyer impressed the San Diego coaching staff in the off-season during an ID Camp as he walked on to the team and provided an immediate impact. Playing and starting in 16 matches for USD, Sandmeyer scored his first Torero goal in the rout over Lipscomb back in August.
Jack played in a total of 1,330 minutes during the season and contributed four points after picking up assists against San Diego State and Gonzaga in his lone season for the Toreros.
Ramirez once again appears on All-WCC list, this time as an Honorable Mention pick after making last season's All-Freshman Team to begin his collegiate career. Competing mostly off the Toreros' bench in 2024, Steven was third on the roster with four goals this season, including scoring both game-winners against San Francisco and Pacific on the road.
Playing in all 17 of his team's matches in 2024, Ramirez earned three starts throughout the season and totaled 77 minutes in the season finale at LMU near his home town.
Rhoades also earned an All-WCC Honorable Mention nod after playing and starting in all 17 of the Toreros' 2024 matches. Beginning his season with a strong performance, he scored one of USD's two goals in a draw with then 20th-ranked Duke before finding the back of the net against both UC Irvine and Gonzaga later in the year.
Playing a pivotal role throughout the season, Rhoades was in the lineup for every match as he totaled 1,349 minutes and played the full 90 minutes in eight different games for the Toreros.
Making his collegiate debut all the way from Germany,
Bauer immediately stepped into his team's starting lineup and was crucial in supporting USD's defense. Playing in all but one minute of his 14 games this season, Mathias had a huge night in San Diego's 2-1 victory over Santa Clara as he assisted in both of his team's goals.
With Bauer and
Luca Fava being named to the All-Freshman team, it marks the third consecutive season that USD has had multiple All-WCC Freshman Team selections on their roster.
Fava rounds out the San Diego selections as he did it all for his team in a variety of roles in 2024. Playing in all 17 of USD's games including making 13 starts, Luca excelled at setting up his teammates all season as he was tied with
Owen Walz for the team lead with five assists.
Providing an immediate impact in his first couple of games for San Diego, Fava found the back of the net against San Diego State and Lipscomb and also assisted
Steven Ramirez's game-winning goals against both San Francisco and Pacific.
San Diego's magical season will continue into the 2024 NCAA Tournament as they will host UC Davis for a First Round match up at Torero Stadium. For links and information on the team's postseason run, please check at the
