MALIBU, Calif. – San Diego volleyball (17-9, 12-4 WCC) wraps up WCC play this week versus Pepperdine (16-10, 13-3 WCC) at the Firestone Fieldhouse before returning home to host Saint Mary's at the Jenny Craig Pavilion

The Toreros will get the week started with a matchup versus the Waves on Wednesday at 12 p.m., followed by a home contest with the Gaels on Saturday at 11 a.m. Both of USD's matches this week will be streamed live on ESPN+, and live statistics will be available on PepperdineWaves.com and USDToreros.com.

LAST TIME OUT – TOREROS FALL IN FIVE SETS IN SAN FRANCISCO
• San Diego dropped a 3-2 decision at San Francisco (15-13, 8-8 WCC) this past Saturday afternoon.
Despite sophomore outside hitter Nemo Beach's match-high 15 kills alongside two double-double performances by freshman outside hitter Isabel Clark (12 kills, 12 digs) and graduate student setter Anni Evans (50 assists, 14 digs), the Toreros could not hold on as the Dons took the fifth and final set 16-14 on their home court.

ALL-TIME SERIES VERSUS PEPPERDINE
• The Toreros are 37-45 against the Waves all-time, with the two programs' last meeting coming earlier this month when USD beat Pepperdine 3-1 in the Jenny Craig Pavilion.
That afternoon, the Torero defense held the Waves to a .122 hitting percentage through 16 total team blocks as freshman outside hitter Isabel Clark racked up a career-best 24 kills while hitting .418.

ALL-TIME SERIES VERSUS SAINT MARY'S
• The Toreros are 61-14 against the Gaels all-time, with the two programs' last meeting coming this past October when USD swept SMC in Moraga.

• That afternoon, the Gaels had no answer for their former teammate, senior middle blocker Kristen Erland, as she tallied up a match-high and season-high 10 kills while hitting .714.

• The Toreros will enter Saturday's match on an 11-game win streak against the Gaels that dates back to October of 2019.

USD has swept SMC a total of 38 times since the teams' first matchup in 1987.

MORE MILESTONES FOR MADI
• With 427 digs on the season, redshirt senior libero Madi Allen currently ranks 8th in single-season digs in USD Volleyball history.

• Allen surpassed Annie Benbow's 2022 season mark of 426 digs after totaling 25 digs at San Francisco this past weekend.

• With 38 service aces on the season, Allen is just one away from being tied for seventh in single-season aces in USD Volleyball history

• Allen enters Wednesday's match just 23 digs away from reaching the 1,500 career dig milestone. Her 537 digs during her two seasons at BYU and her 940 digs during her three seasons with USD currently leave her at 1,477 career digs.

In addition to ranking first in opponent hitting percentage (.172), team hitting percentage (.246), opponent blocks/set (1.77), and team blocks/set (2.58) in the WCC, San Diego holds two NCAA top-50 defensive rankings.
