CHULA VISTA, Calif. — San Diego golf on Tuesday afternoon finished 1st of 16 teams in the Lamkin Invitational at San Diego Country Club. The Toreros recorded rounds of 282, 277, and 283 for a total of 842 strokes that were 22 under par.

USD was led by graduate student Craig Ronne, who finished first with a 12-under 204 (70, 65, 69). 

Senior Andi Xu was next at T-12, carding rounds of 71, 69, and 71 for a five-under 211.

Senior Kelvin Si finished tied for 19th (-3, 72, 70, 71, 213), followed by sophomore Ryan Plodkowski at T-33 (-1, 72, 70, 73, 215), freshman Ryan Abuan at T-39 (E, 69,73,74, 216), freshman You Seong Choi tied at 42 (+1, 71, 70, 76, 217), junior Carson Enright at T-47 (+2, 72, 74, 72, 218), sophomore Michael Behr at T-87 (+14, 71, 80, 79, 230), and freshman Trevor Karber tied at 92 (+20, 84, 75, 77, 236). 

The Toreros are back in action on Monday, March 18, when they begin play in The Pauma Valley Invitational at the Pauma Valley Country Club in Pauma Valley, California.
