SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — After recording a pair of clean sheets as the Toreros earned a perfect week on the pitch, San Diego men's soccer sophomore goalkeeper Lucca Adams has been named the West Coast Conference's Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Adams posted a pair of shutouts this week as USD took down both LMU and Seattle U at home to remain in the chase for a fourth consecutive WCC title. The tremendous Torero defense was on point throughout the victories over the Lions and Redhawks as San Diego held the two sides to just 11 shots across both matches.
With his second defensive player of the week award this season, Adams joins Simon Duus Muller and Noah James as USD recipients of the conference's weekly awards during the 2025 men's soccer season.
