INDIANAPOLIS — San Diego men's golf has received an at-large selection to the 2025 NCAA Tournament and is headed to the postseason for the fifth consecutive year, the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Committee announced on Wednesday afternoon.
The Toreros will participate in a 54-hole NCAA regional tournament hosted by the University of Nevada at Montreux Golf and Country Club from May 12 through May 14 in which they are seeded seventh. The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each NCAA regional will advance to the NCAA finals.
USD heard its name called during the NCAA selection show after a season in which it won three tournaments (the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational, The Prestige, and the Nick Watney Invitational), finished second at two events (the Kapolei Invitational and the R.E.L. Invitational), and earned a third-place finish at two more (the Alister MacKenzie Invitational and the Wyoming Cowboy Classic).
Two Toreros secured All-WCC honors in head coach
Evan Emerick's first season at the helm, with
