Simon Duus Muller has been named the West Coast Conference's Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. This is the first time in Duus Muller's four year San Diego career that he has earned the conference's weekly award, and he becomes the first Torero to take home the honor during the early portion of the 2025 season.
Duus Muller, came up clutch multiple times for his team in their road match against the Pioneers as he put home a pair of penalty kicks, scoring once in each half for the Toreros in the team's first victory of the new season. The Copenhagen, Denmark native made his first start of the season in Thursday's match against Denver and played 78 key minutes to help USD score three goals in a match for the first time since last season's conference opener against Saint Mary's where they bested the Gaels by a 4-2 final score at home.

The Toreros continue their 2025 season with a pair of matchups this week, starting with a crosstown rivalry game with San Diego State hosted by Snapdragon Stadium tonight at 5:00 p.m. USD will then look forward to this week's home opener at Torero Stadium when they will welcome California Baptist for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
