SAN DIEGO — San Diego volleyball (7-4, 0-0 WCC) fell to UC San Diego (2-10, 0-0 Big West) in five sets at the Jenny Craig Pavilion on Saturday night, snapping a four-match win streak for the Toreros.
The Tritons prevailed 25-22, 25-21, 17-25, 25-27, and 16-14 before a crowd of 641.
Isabel Clark totaled a career-high 25 kills while hitting .321 in the loss.
Tatum Lane tallied a career-high 46 assists,
Olivia Bennett had 18 digs, and
BayLea Sparks was tied for the match high with six block assists.
San Diego served on match point in the fifth set leading 14-13, but was unable to hang on and seal the win.
