SAN DIEGO — San Diego women's basketball is back home this weekend, returning to America's Finest City to take on Loyola Marymount.

The Toreros (7-14, 1-7 WCC) will take on the Lions (12-7, 6-2 WCC) on Saturday afternoon in a 2:00 p.m. clash at the Jenny Craig Pavilion.

Braden Surprenant (play-by-play) and Drake Hills (analyst) will have the call on ESPN+, and live statistics will be available on USDToreros.com and StatBroadcast.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST LOYOLA MARYMOUNT
• The Toreros are 54-33 against the Lions all-time, but have dropped the last two matchups between the two teams.

• USD and LMU most recently met on February 27, 2025, with the Toreros falling by a narrow 63-60 margin at the Jenny Craig Pavilion.

• San Diego most recently defeated Loyola Marymount on February 17, 2024, when it prevailed 66-50 at the JCP.

• From 2019 to 2023, USD dominated the all-time series against Loyola Marymount, putting together an eight-game win streak against the Lions that included four victories in San Diego and four in Los Angeles.

LAST TIME OUT: TOREROS TEST DONS IN SAN FRANCISCO
Kylie Ray had 27 points and 13 rebounds on Thursday night as Hallie Rhodes totaled 24 points of her own, but San Diego fell to San Francisco in a 69-65 decision at War Memorial Gym.

• Ray scored a bucket with 12.2 seconds left to cut USD's deficit down to two, 67-65, but the Toreros couldn't force another turnover and have a chance to tie or take the lead. She ultimately finished with a game-high 27 points and 13 rebounds with four steals to lead the Toreros (7-14, 1-7 WCC). Ray, who also leads the WCC in free throw percentage, also went 5-for-6 at the line.

• Ray and Rhodes combined for 51 of the team's 65 points against USF (12-7, 5-3 WCC). As Ray shot 10-of-27 from the floor, Rhodes shot 8-of-19 alongside seven rebounds.

Kylie Ray | Sophomore | Guard | La Crescenta, California
• Averaging 16.7 points per game across 16 contests while shooting 37 percent from the field, 36 percent from beyond the arc, and 90 percent from the free throw line. Also leads the Toreros with 44 assists.

• Ranks fourth in the WCC in PPG and is leading the league in free throw percentage.

• Scored a game-high 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds on Thursday (January 22) night at San Francisco.

• Grandfather is former UCLA men's basketball head coach Jim Harrick.

Hallie Rhodes | Senior | Guard | Keller, Texas
• Averaging 10.7 PPG and has totaled 68 rebounds, 25 steals, and 14 blocks in 2025-2026.

• Scored 24 points and had seven rebounds against USF on Thursday.

Olivia Owen | Freshman | Guard | Columbus, Ohio
• Leads USD with 38 steals and 1.90 steals per game in 2025-2026, which ranks sixth among all WCC players and are the most of any freshman in the conference.

Ayla Williams | Freshman | Post | Las Vegas, Nevada
• Is pacing the San Diego defense with 16 blocks so far this season, which ranks 13th in the WCC.

• Was named WCC Freshman of the Week back on December 8 after averaging 13 points and 17 rebounds across a two-game stretch against Binghamton and Utah State.
