PORTLAND, Ore. — After dominating Saint Mary's in a come-from-behind run-rule win last Sunday, San Diego baseball (16-25, 8-10 WCC) will hit the road to continue West Coast Conference play this week, traveling to the Pacific Northwest for a three-game series at Portland (23-18, 9-9 WCC).
Game one at Joe Etzel Field is set for Thursday at 6:00 p.m., followed by another 6 p.m. start on Friday night and a 12:00 p.m. finale on Sunday afternoon.
All three games will be streamed live on ESPN+ alongside live statistics on StatBroadcast.

CJ Moran,
Connor Meidroth, and freshman
Diego Gonzalez, who led USD with four RBIs in the game.
ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST PORTLAND
• The Toreros are 70-33 against the Pilots all-time, and have won five straight matchups with UP dating back to May 2024.
• San Diego swept its series against Portland last season, beating the Pilots by scores of 6-3, 3-1, and 5-4 at Fowler Park from April 17-19, 2025.
• USD most recently visited Joe Etzel Field from April 12-14, 2024, when it dropped two of three games to Portland. San Diego won the series opener that year by a score of 10-4, but the Pilots responded by taking games two and three by 5-1 and 13-4 margins.
• The Toreros and Pilots also faced off in the WCC Tournament in 2024. San Diego beat the Pilots 7-5 in a third-round matchup, then needed just one game to win the 2024 WCC Tournament Championship, eschewing the if-necessary matchup as they defeated the Pilots 8-6 to earn an automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA postseason.
