SAN DIEGO — University of San Diego Associate Vice President and Executive Director of Athletics Kimya Massey has been named to the Top Athletic Directors in America list (2026 Edition) by Silver Waves Media, announced on Monday.
 
The annual list highlights athletic directors across the country who are driving excellence within their departments for their ability to drive meaningful progress, elevate the student-athlete experience, strengthen institutional alignment, and position their programs for sustained success through forward-thinking leadership.

Under Massey's direction, USD Athletics continues to build momentum across multiple areas, including competitive success, facility enhancements, and long-term strategic planning. Most recently, the department unveiled its comprehensive "New Era" Strategic Plan, a forward-looking roadmap designed to guide USD Athletics through the evolving landscape of college sports while prioritizing student-athlete experience, competitive excellence, innovation, and financial sustainability.
