JUNIOR (2009): Played in all 25 matches as the starting setter for the Toreros...named All-WCC honorable mention, after recording 1,120 assists, 11 service aces and 180 digs...recorded a double-double with 48 assists and 12 digs in a 3-1 win at Long Beach State (8/28/09)...recorded 47 assists in a loss to UC Santa Barbara (9/5/09)...recorded 45 assists at Colorado in a 3-0 victory (9/11/09)...recorded 54 assists against Cal Poly to help the Toreros win 3-1 (9/12/09), and later that day pushed the Toreros to a win against Denver with 51 assists...recorded 40 assists against Seattle University in a 3-0 victory (9/15/09)...recorded a career-high 68 assists to go along with a 15 digs in a 3-2 win over UC Irvine (9/17/09)...recorded 47 assists in a 3-2 win at Loyola Marymount (10/1/09)...recorded 45 assists against Pepperdine in a 3-0 loss (10/3/09)...in five straight matches (all 3-1 Torero victories) recorded 50 or more assists with 53 against San Francisco (10/8/09), 52 against both Santa Clara (10/10/09) and Saint Mary[apos]s (10/17/09), 54 at Gonzaga (10/22/09), and 51 at Portland (10/24/09)...also turned in double-doubles against Saint Mary[apos]s and Portland recording digs of 14 and 13...turned in 42 assists against Pepperdine (10/28/09)...recorded 59 assists at with a 3-2 victory at Santa Clara (11/5/09)... recorded her fifth double-double with 54 assists and 10 digs against Saint Mary[apos]s (11/14/09). SOPHOMORE (2008): Played in 22 matches as the back-up setter for the Toreros...helped the team win its third consecutive WCC championship...recorded 77 assists, four service aces and 15 digs...recorded a season-high 28 assists in a win against Seattle University (9/20/08). FRESHMAN (2007): Played in 24 matches...helped the team win a share of the WCC Championship...recorded 547 assists in helping direct the Toreros offense to a .247 team attack percentage...also recorded 111 digs and five service aces...recorded one double-double with 10 digs and 28 assists in a win against Virginia (9/8/07)...recorded a career-high 38 assists in a win against Gonzaga (10/20/07)...recorded 30 or more assists on five occasions...recorded 36 assists in a win against Oklahoma (9/8/07). HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters in volleyball playing for Roger Kuntz at Middle Park High School...was named first-team All-State as both a junior and senior...named second-team All-State as a sophomore...named first-team All-Metro League for three consecutive years...helped lead her team to three consecutive league championships...was tabbed the Metro League Senior of the Year. PERSONAL: Kelsi Myers was born on May 19, 1989 in Winter Park, Colo....she is the daughter of Jim and Lori Myers...was heavily recruited by Denver University, LSU, Washington State and San Francisco...chose to attend USD because of the outstanding academic opportunities, the volleyball program, beautiful campus and the San Diego environment...her sister (Lindsey) plays volleyball at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs...notes that she lives in a ski town.
