2003 & 2004 All-West Coast Conference selection

JUNIOR (2005):
Named to the All-WCC first team after posting a .321 hitting percentage on the season...earned her first AVCA All-Pacific Region nomination and was an AVCA All-American honorable mention...played in and started all 29 matches for USD...posted double figures in kills on 25 occasions...hit a match-high 33 kills against San Diego State (10-11) to lead USD to a thrilling 3-2 victory...put up three double doubles (kills-digs) versus UCLA (9-3), Saint Mary[apos]s (10-21) and Portland (11-5)...had an individual season high 12 digs against UCLA...her .765 attack percentage against UNLV (9-15) was an individual match-high and season-high...finished the season ranked eighth in the WCC in hitting percentage (.321) and fourth in kills (483; 4.27 kills per game)...the 84 blocks on the season tied Dawson with teammate Laurel Abrahamson for the team-lead.

SOPHOMORE (2004)
Played and started in all 29 matches during USD[apos]s WCC Championship season of 2004... Helped San Diego win 16 consecutive matches to close out the regular season and 18 matches overall... Honored as an All-WCC Honorable Mention... San Diego[apos]s team leader in attack percentage (.319), which ranked 3rd for all players in the WCC... Also led all USD players with 86 blocks... Totaled 251 kills, which ranked among Torero team-leaders... Had five or more blocks on five different occasions... Enjoyed a career-high eight-block match at San Francisco (10-16)... Blocked six attacks in victories against both Portland (10-30) and Pepperdine (10-22)... Killed eight balls in 10 attacks (.700) helping the Toreros defeat Pennsylvania (9-18) at the USD Invitational... Posted double-digit kill performances 11 different times, highlighted by matching a career-high with 15 kills vs. Oregon State (9-18)... Had 14 kills in just three games against both San Diego State (10-5) and Gonzaga (10-29).

FRESHMAN (2003)
Turned in an excellent freshman season... Named an All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention... Named an All-Tournament Player at the 2003 USD Invitational... Ranked fifth in the WCC in attack percentage... Key factor in helping San Diego reach the NCAA Tournament and equal a school record with a No. 16 national ranking... Her .309 attack percentage during regular season play ranks as the tenth-highest performance ever by a Torero in a single-season... Totaled 254 kills in regular season play, third highest among all San Diego players in 2003... Blocked 56 attacks, ranking her among USD[apos]s team leaders... Posted 15 kills twice, which was a season-high, first at UC Irvine (9-9) then vs. Dayton (9-27)... Four digs at then-No. 17 Loyola Marymount (10-25)... Went on an early season streak of eight consecutive matches in which she posted double-digit numbers in kills.

Four-year varsity letter winner at Granite Hills High School... Honored as team MVP as both a junior and senior... Served as team captain her senior year ... All-CIF First Team selection as a senior... Desert Sky League MVP and Daily Prep co-Player of the Year in 2002... Set a school record with 33 kills in a single match... Numerous tournament MVP honors and was named an all-county player by The Sun... Coached by Carolyn Ruhm as a prep... Also played for the Rancho Valley club program.
