Biography

Ryan Maspero is entering her first season as an undergraduate assistant coach for interim head coach Brent Hilliard and will assist the Hilliard with all aspects of the game. Maspero joins the coaching staff after playing for the Toreros for two seasons. During her playing career in a Torero uniform she played a key role in USD[apos]s NCAA Tournament team. During her freshman campaign she posted a career-high 19 kills against cross-town rival San Diego State University. During her sophomore season she appeared in seven matches with three starts before suffering a career-ending injury. Maspero is currently a senior at USD and will attain her bachelor[apos]s degree in Communications with a minor in Real Estate this coming May. She resides in San Diego.
