Shea Decker-Jacoby

Shea Decker-Jacoby joined San Diego volleyball in April 2026 as an assistant coach. The fall 2026 season will be her first with the Toreros.

Decker-Jacoby came to USD from Dartmouth, where she had served as a women's volleyball assistant coach and recruiting coordinator since January 2025. While in Hanover, she led the collection, presentation, and analysis of all practice and match performance data, oversaw all technology services for the team, and guided the program's recruiting efforts for the 2025 and 2026 recruiting cycles. Decker-Jacoby also supervised the training for Dartmouth's setters and middles and assisted with in-match offensive strategy and game plan execution.

Prior to Dartmouth, Decker-Jacoby spent three seasons as a performance analyst for Michigan State women's volleyball. In that role, Decker-Jacoby handled the program's match and practice statistical collection and analysis and oversaw the Spartans' video operations. She also assisted with tracking on-court player performance and managed advance scouting for future matches. 

Decker-Jacoby arrived at MSU after working at the University of Virginia and George Mason University, also as an on-court assistant and performance analyst.
 
Her volleyball experience has extended to the global stage. She served as a support analyst for the US Women's National Team at the 2024 Paris Olympics and has worked annually with the Volleyball Nations League (VNL). In 2023, she was named the performance analyst for the Collegate Women's National Volleyball Team and has since assisted with their Open Tryout each year at the Olympic Training Center. And for the 2024 NCAA National Championships in Louisville, Kentucky., she coded the semifinal matches for the American Volleyball Coaches Association's presentation for the semifinal match analysis.
 
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Decker-Jacoby graduated from Brandeis University in 2019 with degrees in American and International Global Studies. She was a four-year starter for the Judges, concluding her collegiate career ranked in the program's top 15 for kills and kills per set. 

Decker-Jacoby graduated magnum cum laude from New York University with her master's degree specializing in Professional and Collegiate Sports Business and Operations.
