Sophomore in 2004: First Team All-WCC player... Key component to the Toreros 2004 WCC Championship team in which USD ran the table (14-0) in WCC play and achieved a school record national ranking of No. 13 by the AVCA (11/22)... Ranked among WCC leaders in hitting percentage (.294) in helping USD rank 24th nationally as a team in that category as of 11/21... Ranked in the WCC[apos]s top-10 in points (4.02 p/g) during WCC play... Named the WCC Player of the Week (11/9) after killing a career-high 17, blocking 8 (5 solo) and hitting .483 during USD[apos]s road victory over nationally ranked Santa Clara (11/7)... Named an All-Tournament player at the USD Invitational (9/18) after hitting .560 with 16 kills during a three-game sweep over regionally ranked Penn (9/18)... Posted double-digit numbers in kills in each of USD[apos]s last 11 matches and 18 times during the course of the regular season... Had a pair of double-double (kills-digs) first at nationally ranked Hawaii (9/3) and later at Pepperdine (11/20)... Totaled 60+ blocks for the second straight season, amassing 65 (19 solo) during the regular season... Had four or more blocks on seven different occasions.
Freshman in 2003: Named an All-West Coast Conference honorable mention player as a true freshman... Emerged as a starter late in the year, starting in 14 matches on the season... Led the team in total blocks (63)... Enjoyed a career night during a five-game match at St. Mary[apos]s (11-15-03), posting season-high[apos]s in blocks (9) and kills (16)... Registered double-digit numbers in kills on eight different occasions... Attack percentage (.276) was among the team leaders... Had a season-high four digs and killed 11 vs. then-No. 16 Loyola Marymount (11-21-03)... Killed 14 and blocked six vs. Portland (11-1-03).
Prep/Club: Attended Minden, Nevada and Douglas High School... Three-time first team all conference selection... Named an all-state player as both a junior and senior... Led Douglas High School to three consecutive state tournament appearances... Earned All-America honors while playing for the Silver State club program... Helped Silver State place third nationally.
Personal: Born on August 8, 1985 in Carson City, Nevada... Daughter of Roland and Leslie Haas... Also a standout prep basketball player at Douglas... Honored as a McDonalds All-American and all-state selection... Was also recruited to play volleyball at UC Santa Barbara and Wisconsin.
