- As a sophomore she helped lead her team to the state championship

- Kristen Taylor Gengenbacher was born on January 3, 1996 in Quincy, IL
- She is the daughter of Rick and Becky Gengenbacher
- Chose to attend USD because of the beautiful campus, the outstanding USD education, plus the athletic and spiritual opportunities she feels no other school has to offer
- She comes from an athletic family, as her mother played softball at Illinois State, her sister Karlee played basketball at the Minnesota State University Mankato, and her other sister Kassidy played basketball at Lindenwood University
