San Diego, CA- Despite holding Gonzaga to just a pair of shots on the afternoon, the visiting Bulldogs were able to upset host San Diego 1-0 Sunday afternoon at USD's Torero Stadium. Gonzaga (11-7; 3-3 WCC) scored at the 37 minute mark in when forward Annie Hawkins stole the ball from Torero defender Kaitlyn Pruett and scored from point blank range in front of the Torero net. The opportunity was one of the only chances the San Diego defense allowed all afternoon but proved to be the decisive score.

The match signified the final home appearance for six Torero seniors, including past all-conference award winners Cristina Romero, Alexis Obeji, Brenna Mullen and Katie Allen.
