The Toreros dropped a 6-0 decision to Nevada in this morning's 9 am contest at the Mustang Roundup being hosted by Cal Poly. It is USD's third straight loss at the tourney and the Toreros will return for a 4:30 p.m. contest with Cal State Sacramento. Nevada scored 4 runs in the 3rd inning against Gina McFarland (1-1) and added single runs in the 5th and 6th. USD was limited to 6 hits with Jennifer Delpit leading the way with a 2-for-3 effort.

Nevada was paced by leadoff hitter Jiliane Hartfiel who went 2-for3 with a 3-run triple in the 3rd. Jaime Waldron was 2-for-3 with 1 run and 1 RBI. San Diego received additonal hits from Gina McFarland, Sara Mason, Marissa Merchain and Cindy McGee. USD's McFarland gave up 5 earned runs and recorded 2 strikeouts while scattering 7 Wolfpack hits.
