USD Swimming and Diving Earns 12 All-Academic Honors

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - The Western Athletic Conference announced their All-Academic list for the 2007-2008 season. 12 University of San Diego swimming and diving student-athletes earned recognition from the conference. San Diego had the third highest number of student-athletes earning WAC All-Academic awards. They were edged out by Nevada with 13 and Northern Arizona with 14.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.00 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests. New Mexico State had 11 student-athletes earning All-Academic, University of Idaho had 10, San Jose State had five, Boise State had four, and Hawai'I had one.
