SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of San Diego baseball team dropped a 2-1 non-conference game to UC Riverside Tuesday afternoon at USD's Cunningham Stadium.

San Diego then evened the score in the bottom of the fifth inning. With two outs, Bryan Haar got things started with a single through the left side. Jon Hotta then drove in Haar with a double down the left field line to knot things up at 1-1.

The Highlanders would score the go-ahead run in the top of the sixth inning when Pellegrino hit into a bases-loaded double play to put the game at its final of 2-1.
